  • 15.10.2025
    13:00-17:00
  • Brussels, Belgium

As part of the European Week of Regions and Cities 2025 and in celebration of the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction, the MYRIAD-EU project will host a roundtable on why Europe needs a multi-hazard approach to disaster risk assessment.

The event will showcase practical examples from five pilot regions (Danube, Scandinavia, North Sea, Veneto, and the Canary Islands) demonstrating how local action can drive systemic change in disaster risk reduction. Stakeholders and policymakers will explore how innovative tools and cross-sector collaboration can help regions address interconnected risks such as floods, wildfires, droughts, and heatwaves, shaping a more resilient and sustainable future for Europe.
