Kelley De Polt is a PhD researcher with the department of Biogeochemical Integration at the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry (Jena, Germany). She is also affiliated withthe department of Water and Climate Risk of the Institute for Environmental Studies (IVM) at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (Amsterdam, the Netherlands). Currently, her PhD research focuses on understanding the interactions and feedbacks between hazards and natural or human systems, specifically focused on the relationships between hazard intensity and their impact. Kelley’s work is part of MYRIAD-EU working package 4: Dynamics feedbacks between risk drivers. She also serves as Early Career Researchers Board representative.
